Ed Michael Reggie serves on boards of directors for many commercial and nonprofit entities. In his position as Managing Director of Future Factory, he toils beside the Investment Committee to assess investments, looking after portfolio companies and collaborating with their leadership to accomplish profit and growth.
At GuideStar Clinical Trials Management, which serves up full-scale, subcontracted clinical research management services to hospitals and physician practices nationwide, Ed Michael Reggie is Chairman of the Board. Also, he is on the Board of the New Orleans BioInnovation Center, a technology business incubator that aims to stimulate bioscience entrepreneurship in the New Orleans area.
After beginning his career as a commercial bank president, Ed Michael started American LIFECARE, a regional managed health care organization, which was later acquired by The Carlyle Group. Before this, he was Chief Executive Officer of Regent Health System. He was active in the Louisiana Health Care Commission, where he was a founding member.
Ed Michael has held a few positions in the Health Sciences Center at Tulane University. He was awarded Tulane's "Champion of Public Health" honor in 2004. Mr. Reggie is engaged in micro-finance efforts in developing countries while serving as as Guarantor of MicroCredit Enterprises and Treasurer and Trustee of Freedom from Hunger, both headquartered in northern California. He has been a health care system examiner in Cuba and the Middle East with the Human Rights Project, Washington, D.C. and he was a delegate on trade visits to Rome and Hong Kong with Academy of International Health Studies.
Mr. Reggie achieved his MBA from Tulane's A.B. Freeman Business School.         |
