Two Sentenced In City Court
CROWLEY, La. — Only two cases came before Judge Edmund Reggie for disposal in the Friday afternoon session of city court.
Huey Lee Malbrue, colored, drew a fine of $15 or 10 days in jail when he pleaded guilty to corn-miffing the crime of simple battery by striking Clara Mae Davis I about the face and head with his' fists.
Eddie C. Crout, colored, pleaded guilty to running past a stop sign at an intersection in the city of Crowley and was sentenced to pay a fine of $5 or to serve five days.
