Forfeiting bonds through the traffic Violations Bureau were Eldridge P. Hoffpauir, speeding; Karen A. Lund, speeding: Phyllis Ann Perron, speeding; Harvey Abshire and Lizzie Knatt, running stop signs; Ronald J. Langlinais and Joseph Chaisson, improper mufflers; Gilbert Young, seven overdue ; parking meter tickets; and Juanita Glover, one overdue parking ticket.
Ordered to provide for the support of his minor daughter was Curtis Andrew Webster of New Orleans.
Seven state bonds for traffic violations were also ordered forfeited.
CROWLEY, La.—Shoplifting and the issuing of five bad I checks in Crowley brought Made Senagal of Rayne 210 days in the parish prison at Wednesday's session of Crowley City Court.
Senagal entered pleas o f guilty to the bad check charges, but elected to stand trial on the theft of two sweaters f r om Gibson's Discount in Crowley. Although Senegal stoutly maintained - h i s innocence, employees of the f i r in p-r es en ted evidence that prompted Judge Edmund Reggie to pronounce him guilty.
Ile was sentenced to 60 days on the theft count and 30 days each on the five bad check charges.
Truman Hayes, young Crowley Negro, elected to ignore an order of the Crowley City Court to attend six hours of instruction at the Driver Improvement School. Upon his appearance in court Wednesday, he was ruled in contempt of court by Judge Reggie and sentenced to 20 days in the city jail. He was further re-ordered to attend the Driver Improvement School under police sun veillance.
Mrs. Georgians Taylor of Rayne failed to appear in court after being summoned on a bad check charge. Judge Reggie ordered her to be arrested and placed in the parish jail with bond set at $5.000. R. Allen of Jennings also failed to appear to answer a bad check charge. His bond was ordered forfeited and his rearrest ordered.
Joseph Brown entered a plea of guilty to disturbing the peace by fighting and was sen
tenced to 20 days in ja i 1. Judge Reggie took note th a t Brown was a frequent offender and court visitor and ordered the Crowley Police Department to lodge a state charge of vagrancy against Brown on his next offense, to subject him to a sterner penalty.

In another court trial of Wednesday, Rodney J. Gauthreaux was found not guilty of a charge of driving while intoxicated. '
