Sent To Jail
For Non-Support
CROWLEY, La. —Non - \support of children cases occupied a considerable amount of time at the state session ,of Crowley City Court conducted by Edmund M. Reggie Wednesday afternoon.
In one instance where a man had failed to live up to a court ruling that he provide for h i s child, Judge Reggie issued a sentence of six mops in the parish jail. ReceiviW this sentence was Edgar Victor, w h o told the judge that he hadn't worked in 21 years;
Frank Font e n* entered a guilty plea to vagrallty and was given a 90-day suspended sentence pending his admittance to a state hospital. Eras Wilturner entered a plea of Ant guilty to unauthorized use of `a moveable through counsel and had h i s trial se■. for Dec. !A
Forfeiting tiOnds -Aar running stop signs were Robert Guzman. Richard Wiltrito, William P. Menard, Irvin T. Strange, Skerty Lecmus, Sandra Brigger. and Emma Bargky. James V. Champagne forfeited a bond for running a barricade.
