Judge Orders
Bonds Forfeited
CROWLEY, La.—Three sentences were imposed and 11 bonds ordered forfeited by Judge Edmund M. Reggie in Crowley City Court Wednesday afternoon.
Leonard Melancon drew a sentence of $100 or 30 days in jail on one count of driving while intoxicated and $75 a n d costs on a second count of the same charge. City Attorney Joe Gueno nolle pressed a charge of hit and run driving against Me-. lancon.
Buster Lee Livings entered a guilty plea to fighting and was fined $15 and costs or 10 days.
Forfeiting bonds for reckless driving were Sidney Miguez and L.J. Bonin.
Those forfeiting bonds for disturbing the peace were John Si-mien, Jr., Ernest Harmon, El-ray Daigle, Ethel Bouttee, Justin D. Hoffpauir, Gerald Chambers, and L.J. Bonin.
In the Traffic Violations Bureau during the week five bonds were forfeited. They were Jack Lambert, Linda M. Pousson, and Edward Guidry, all for failure to yield; and Mrs. Opehelia Moseley and Sherman Spencer for running a stop sign.
