E.M. Reggie Named President
The Board of Directors of Colonial Bank announced the appointment of Ed Michael Reggie as President and Chief Executive Officer of the New Orleans institution.
Mr. Reggie comes to Colonial Bank from Pontchartrain State Bank. Previously, Mr. Reggie served as President and Chief Executive Officer of City Savings Bank in DeRidder.
Mr. Reggie plans to inaugurate an aggressive marketing program at Colonial.
"We are in a new era of banking in New Orleans and in the country as a result of the deregulation of financial institutions. The days of status quo are over," says Mr. Reggie.
"Colonial Bank is going into the community to reach out to new customers. We'll meet our customers in their own offices and businesses," added the new President.
A native of Crowley, Mr. Reggie is a member of the Bank Management Committee of the Louisiana Bankers Association.
