The Beauregard Community Concert Association held its annual membership meeting on April 14. President LeRoy Ades thanked all members for a successful campaign. This year's membership drive was a sell-out. Mr. Ades thanked Membership Chairman Betty Meadows and Headquarters Chairman Maxine Condit for outstanding jobs during the past campaign. Board Member Stuart Kay, Jr. thanked Mr. Ades for his past year's leadership.
The next order of business was election of officers. Mr. Larry Barnhill was elected President of the Association. The other Officers elected are: First Vice Presidnet, A.L. Peters; Vice President for Membership, Mrs. H. Meadows; Assistant to Membership Chairman, Mrs. Don Brown; Vice President for Pubicity, Mrs. Paul H. Jantz; Secretary, Mrs. E.R. Brown and Treasurer, Mr. Jack Condren.
Each year the membership elects eight new members of the Board of Directors. The Board is composed of 16 members who serve two-year alternating terms. The eight new Directors are: Mrs. Gary Godair, Mrs. W.E. Kilman, Mrs. M.E. Nelson, Mrs. 'Ron Roberts, Mrs. David Jones, Mrs. Allen Bradley, Ed Michael Reggie and LeRoy Ades.
The newly elected Directors join those presently serving on the Board. Current Directors are: Mrs. A.J. McGrede, Mrs. K.D. Bardin, Mrs. L.W. Belehrad, Mrs. Eloise Carmen, Dr. Lane Sauls, Stuart Kay, Jr., James Nelson and Kenneth Devillier.
Despite the sell-out season, there are a few limited memberships available to persons who have moved into the area since the membership drive. Members are entitled to admission to all three concerts. No admissions are sold at the door. One adult membership is $12 per year and one student membership is S6 with family memberships available.
