Ed Michael Reggie has joined City Savings Bank and Trust Company as Executive Vice President, it was announced in a joing statement by Merle Harper, Chairman of the Board, and W.E. Kilman, Jr., President.
"We are delighted to have Mr. Reggie join our growing staff of experienced bankers to better meet the expanding needs of our growing community," Chairman Harper said.
President Kilman said, "The bank looks to the trained young leadership exemplified by Mr. Reggie to compliment the experienced leadership of our present officers to better serve our people and I think we are fortunate to have the addition of such a fine young man in our bank."
Reggie, age 27, is a native of Crowley and a graduate of The Williston School, Easthampton, Massachusetts, where he was Student Body President. He obtained a B.S. degree from the University of New Orleans with major studies in banking and finance and completed most of his academic requirements for a Masters degree in that field. He has been accepted for summer study at the Stonier School of Banking at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
The City Savings officer comes to the DeRidder bank from the National American Bank of New Orleans where he was a Vice President. He is listed in the current edition of New Orleans Magazine as one of the 80 outstanding citizens of Louisiana to watch for distinguished leadership during the 1980's.
