| Text of article: | AFFIRMATIVE ACTION FORUM-will be held on Wednesday, April 2, at 7 p.m. at the War Memorial Civic Center. The guest speaker will be Dr. William Boyd, 7th Congressional District Affirmative Action Committee chairman.
The purpose of the forum meeting is to give particular concern to insure full participation by minorities, native Americans, ethnic groups, women and youth in the Democratic Party acitivities. Also to encourage and promote full and increasing participation by all elements of the Democratic Party in Louisiana in all affairs of the Party and in particular, at all levels of the delegate selection process for the 1980 Democratic National Convention.
The public is invited and questions will be answered. The meeting is sponsored by the DeRidder Jaycees.
