| Text of article: | The City Savings Bank and Trust Company Board of Directors has announced three significant promotions within that institution. The action took place during the Monday, August 25, meeting of the Directors.
President
Named president of CSB was Ed Michael Reggie, formerly serving as the Bank's vice-president. Simultaneously, he was named to the Board of Directors. The Board has said "we are especially happy to promote a young man to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank so he can bring to our bank and these positions the value of his vitality, experience and expertise in banking."
Reggie had this to say regarding his new position: "I recognize the honor invested in me by the members of the Board of Directors and I realize the obligation I have to the bank and to the entire community. I shall strive (Continued on Page Two)
with all my energy and determination to justify their confidence in me and I shall serve all the people of the entire Beauregard community as it deserves and needs to be served."
The new president said also, "We have a great community and our biggest asset is our people. It will be my goal and ambition to make CSB as good as the people of Beauregard Parish. If we can even come close to that high standard, I think our mission will be successful.
Bank officials stated that the three promotions became effective with their announcement. |
