La. Will Expand" U.S. Food Stamp Program in State

leged families will soon be expanded.

But how soon the program expands into every parish, Reggie said Monday, depends upon federal funds the state receives to finance the program.

He told a group of officials from 32 parishes that those interested in the food stamps should make application by Sept. 23.
